Ditribution 2010

Distribution 2010

* Fund total return includes both realized & unrealized gains/losses.

** Distributions can only be paid out of realized gains which include net capital gains on disposal of stocks, & dividends & interest received.

Distribution yield is generally higher among the moderate funds especially in the case of Public Dividend Select Fund which aims to provide steady recurring income by investing in stocks which offer or have the potential to offer attractive dividend yields.

Another reason for the very attractive gross distribution yield of 11.9% calculated above for Public Dividend Select Fund is due to its lower Net Asset Value on 1 June 2010 after the recent market drops due to the EU financial crisis. This means that this is a good opportunity to get more units if u invest NOW. Eventually, when u need cash flow income in your retirement, dividend type of funds will be most suitable & the more units u have, the more distributions u will receive as distributions are paid on units

U will also note that some funds have higher distributions than returns. Distributions are paid out of gains realized throughout the financial year whereas returns are based on a beginning date & an end date, & if the end date value is lower than the beginning date value, the return will show a loss. The fund manager has the discretion to pay distributions or retain the realized gains to offset the unrealized losses & they will act according to their fund management principles & strategies.

Pls do let me know if u or your elderly friends / parents / uncles aunts (who are living on their FD interest which is currently only about 2.75%) would like to invest for distribution yields. (Distributions can be paid out annually to investors if they so choose.) The above yields on the dividend & bond funds show that this is a good time to invest into these funds as u will get more units which will in turn give u more distributions later.

Q: OD tu ape?

A: Singkatan bagi Overdraft. Facility dimana bank membenarkan pengeluaran wang melebihi had yg dibenarkan, iaitu menjadi negative balance = overdrawn.

Q: Bagaimana nak apply OD-ASB?

Bab ni perlukan masa sebab bank perlu berurusan dgn PNB psl kite cagarkan sijil ASB/ASW.

Q: Bagaimana nak kira interest OD?

A: Interest OD adalah daily rest. Cth bank tawarkan interest OD pada BLR-1% p.a./setahun, current BLR = 5.55%.

Q: Bagaimana nak bayar interest OD?

A: Tidak.

A: Proses permohonan sama macam loan2 lain. So most probably akan sangkut.

Q: Ade tak fee bulanan/tahun yg bank kenakan keatas account OD?
A: Cth mcm RHB, tiada fee tahunan. Cuma ade fee bulanan, iaitu interest dari outstanding balance atau RM5, whicever is greater. CIMB pun sama kalau tak silap.

Cancer

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY … [Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to STARVE the cancer cells by not feeding it with foods it needs to multiple.
What cancer cells feed on:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Note: Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells will starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells.
To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water--best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines will become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor.
Anger, unforgiving and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

Bagaimana ingin memilih syarikat insurans dan ejen insurans?

How to choose the best insurance company?

1. Ask your relatives or best friends.

Get their feedback why they sign up for the company. If their answer because the agent is their friend. Hence the reason not valid. The good reason is like, they have done research and comparison and this X company gives the best benefits with the cheapest premiums.Or, they searched on internet what is no. 1 insurance in Malaysia and decided to have it.

2. Ask their experience regarding protection and claim.

If your friends and relatives promoting any particular brand of insurance. Ask them how the claim experience. Easy or just OK.It is not valid if they never made any claim or been hospitalized and covered by the company.

3. Ask nurse or doctor at your favorite clinic.

Ask them what is the best. And please don't forget to ask why. Their answer is with credibility as they are working in medical and treatment industry.

4. Find out which insurance company accepted at your nearest private hospital.

Go to your nearest private hospital and ask them which insurance company accepted here. There will be a list of insurance company accepted. Please ask which one they prefer.

5. Do own research

You may collect information by internet or refer yourself to Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM).

Please seek an advice from them.

How to find a good insurance agent for yourself?

1. Make sure the agent based nearby. (eg Klang Valley)

You may get him for any queries and emergency easier.

2. Make sure the agent is lot younger than you.

Agent will help you for all the claim process and hospitalization documentation. If you are 28 year old now and your agent is 44 years old. With logic, your agent maybe leaving this world before you, your agent will have illness before you and your agent will retired soon. Then you will have no agent to help you.

3. If you have any preferred insurance company, please do an appointment with at least 2 insurance agent from the same company.

Please don't blindly trust the agent which recommended by friends or relatives. You do have an option to seek an advice from the thousands of agent out there. From this exercise, you will notice the level of knowledge from the both agent and you know which one you will decide to sign up with.

4. The agent must have time for you.

If the agent meet you for an appointment and he said he just have one hour for you for the presentation and he have another appointment afterward. This is not a good agent.

The agent must have time for you as you need to understand a lots of information before you can sign up for an insurance. One hour is not enough. Having next appointment and just allocate little time for you showing that he has no respect for you.

H1N1 di Tempat Kerja

PANDUAN PENCEGAHAN INFLUENZA A (H1N1) DI TEMPAT KERJA
